  • IntroductionOFWako is an online job portal that connects overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) with POEA-licensed agencies. By using our platform, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services. These Terms apply to job seekers and POEA-licensed recruitment agencies.
  • Terms for Job Seekers2.1 Personal Use OnlyThe services provided by OFWako are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use the platform to search for job listings, apply for jobs, and manage your job applications.2.2 Account ResponsibilityWhen you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.2.3 Creating a Profile and Uploading ResumesJob seekers can create a professional profile and upload their resumes to increase their chances of being noticed by potential POEA agencies. You agree that the information provided in your profile and resume is accurate and up to date. Agencies may review your profile and contact you for job opportunities.2.4 Communications and Other Actions on the SiteBy using OFWako, you consent to receiving communications from POEA agencies regarding job opportunities. You may also engage in discussions, submit applications, and interact with recruiters through our platform. OFWako does not guarantee responses or job offers from agencies.2.5 Job Listings and AccuracyWhile OFWako strives to ensure the accuracy of job listings, job seekers are responsible for verifying the details of any job opportunity before applying. OFWako does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any job advertisement.
  • Terms for POEA Agencies3.1 Account Registration and CompliancePOEA-licensed agencies must create an account on OFWako and provide valid business registration details, including proof of POEA accreditation. By using our platform, you confirm compliance with Philippine labor laws and international recruitment standards.
    • Agencies must provide updated and verifiable license details from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
    • Any changes in licensing status must be reported to OFWako immediately.
    • Agencies must adhere to ethical recruitment practices, ensuring transparency in job offers, salaries, and employment conditions.
    3.2 Job Posting and Candidate Interaction
    • Agencies are responsible for ensuring that job postings accurately reflect the available positions, including job descriptions, qualifications, salary details, and working conditions.
    • Misleading job advertisements or fraudulent recruitment activities are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
    • Agencies must respond promptly to candidate inquiries and update job postings as needed.
    • Agencies should provide complete information about employer expectations, contracts, and visa requirements.
    • Job postings must be reviewed regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.
    3.3 Salary Estimates and Company Information
    • OFWako may provide estimated salary ranges for job listings based on available data. These estimates are for reference only and do not constitute binding salary offers.
    • Agencies are encouraged to provide accurate job information to help job seekers make informed decisions.
    • Agencies must disclose all compensation details, including base salary, allowances, deductions, and any additional fees applicable.
    3.4 Data Usage and Privacy
    • Agencies agree to handle job seekers' data responsibly and in accordance with data protection laws. Candidate information must only be used for recruitment purposes and not for unauthorized marketing or third-party sharing.
    • OFWako does not sell personal data and expects all registered agencies to maintain data security and confidentiality.
    • Agencies must not retain or distribute job seekers' personal information beyond the scope of recruitment purposes.
    3.5 Compliance with Ethical Recruitment Standards
    • POEA agencies must adhere to ethical recruitment practices, including fair hiring, non-discriminatory policies, and compliance with contract transparency.
    • Agencies must clearly communicate contract terms, including employment duration, job responsibilities, benefits, and termination clauses.
    • Any agency found violating ethical recruitment practices may be removed from the platform and reported to the appropriate authorities.
    • Agencies must ensure that no illegal fees are charged to job seekers for placement.
    • Violations of POEA guidelines or ethical standards may result in penalties, including permanent account suspension.
  • General Terms for All Users4.1 CommunicationsBy providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from OFWako, including job alerts, recruitment updates, and notifications related to your account activities.4.2 Data Collection, Sharing, and Privacy
    • OFWako collects and processes personal data to provide job-matching services and improve user experience.
    • We do not sell or rent user data to third parties.
    • Users may update or delete their account information at any time, subject to our data retention policies.
    • By using our platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
    4.3 User ResponsibilitiesAll users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide on the platform is accurate and up to date. Any false, misleading, or inappropriate content may lead to account suspension or termination.4.4 Limitation of LiabilityOFWako provides a job-matching platform but does not guarantee employment. The platform is not responsible for the hiring decisions of agencies. Users agree to hold OFWako harmless from any disputes, losses, or damages arising from recruitment activities conducted through the platform.
  • Governing Law and Dispute ResolutionThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from the use of OFWako shall be resolved in accordance with Singaporean labor and recruitment regulations.
