The Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) is a Japanese government initiative that allows foreign nationals, including Filipinos, to undergo technical training in Japan. The program aims to transfer skills, technologies, and knowledge to developing countries, contributing to their human resource development.

 

What is TITP?

Established in 1993, TITP provides foreign workers with the opportunity to acquire Japanese work skills and experience. The program is designed to promote international cooperation and contribute to the development of human resources in developing countries. ​NSDC India

 

Program Structure

TITP is structured into three levels:​
Technical Intern Training (i): The first year focuses on basic training and skill acquisition.​
Technical Intern Training (ii): The second and third years involve more advanced training.
Technical Intern Training (iii): The fourth and fifth years are for those who have demonstrated exceptional skills and wish to continue their training.​
Each level requires passing specific skill tests to progress. ​
