Exit/Re-Entry Visa Rules Every OFW Should Know in Saudi Arabia
An Exit/Re-Entry Visa is a legal requirement for all expatriates in Saudi Arabia, including Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), who wish to leave and return to the Kingdom during their employment period. Without this visa, you cannot re-enter Saudi Arabia after traveling abroad.
In Saudi Arabia, OFWs with work visas may need an Exit/Re-Entry Visa if they plan to leave the country temporarily and return. There are two types: the Single Exit/Re-Entry Visa and the Multiple Exit/Re-Entry Visa.
The Single Exit/Re-Entry Visa allows you to leave Saudi Arabia once and come back one time only. It is valid for up to 2 months, and the fee is SAR 200. If you need more time, you can extend it for SAR 100 per month.
The Multiple Exit/Re-Entry Visa lets you leave and return many times during the validity period. It is valid for 3 months, and the fee is SAR 500. If extended, each extra month costs SAR 200.
These visas are important for OFWs who may need to travel for family, emergencies, or vacations while still under contract in Saudi Arabia.
